Thank you to all who participated in the Last Hope Animal Rescue event on August 1st.  We had exactly 100 people in attendance and raised over $1500.  The money  will go toward medical bills of animals who have never been claimed by their owners after the flood and the animals they continue to find roaming the streets.   Last Hope is looking for homes for these animals as well as foster families.  If you would like to donate or inquire more about Last Hope please go to www.lasthoperescueia.org.

What better way to wrap up the summer than to host a fund-raising event filled with fine wines, tasty appetizers, live music and good friends... all while helping to support a wonderful cause!  

This year more than 200,000 women and men will be diagnosed with breast cancer and more than 40,000 will lose their life to the disease.  To help in this fight against cancer, the 1st Avenue Wine House is joining thousands of other dedicated women and men to help raise funds and awareness to help the breast cancer movement. Proceeds from this event will go directly to the Susan G. Komen for the Cure and the National Philanthropic Trust.
